MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 14th day of May, 2008 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. MAY 14, 2008 Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Council Member Council Member Council Member Mr. Bill Blesener Ms. Barbara Allan Mr. John Keis Mr. Rick Montour ABSENT: ALSO PRESENT: Council Member City Administrator City Engineer Cable TV Producer City Clerk Mr. Mike McGraw Mr. Joel R. Hanson Mr. Lee Elfering Mr. Kevin Helander Ms. Kathy Glanzer MINUTES Ms. Allan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2008-5-119 -APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE APRIL 23, 2008 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AND THE APRIL 28, 2008 SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. MUNICIPAL Council Member Montour reported on the City's affiliation with both PRODUCER the North Suburban Cable Commission and the North Suburban AWARD Access Corporation. He noted that the North Suburban Cable Commission consists often member cities that jointly regulate the cable franchise agreement with Comcast. The Access Corporation consists of these same ten cities and oversees programming on the public and government cable channels. Montour indicated that at a recent Channel 15 Volunteer Banquet, Little Canada's Cable TV Producer, Vanessa VanAlstine was awarded the Cable TV Producer of the Year Award for 2007. Montour again presented VanAlstine with the award and congratulated her on this achievement.
