Evironmental Board <br />March 30, 2016 <br />Page 7 <br />Natur-Tec® donated bags and a limited number of pails as a hand out for the <br />residents that have signed up for the program. Also will be contacting home owners <br />associations to get them interested. <br />Long term look out -don't see too much increase right away. During the summer we <br />will see what happens. This is a pilot program. Hoping that if it goes well the <br />county will pick up it up. <br />D. Other Recyclins! Updates <br />The City Council was presented with the Anoka County 2016 Agreement for <br />Residential Recycling Program and the 2016 Environmental Board Goals on March <br />14, 2016. Both items were approved. <br />Recycling Saturday on March 19, 2016 had paper shredding as an added event. It <br />was the most successfgul paper shredding event in Lino Lakes so far with <br />approximately 1200 pounds of paper shredded. <br />Next Recycling Saturday will be April 6, 2016. <br />Lino Lakes Annual Recycling Day will be Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 9AM — 3PM. <br />VII.
