The agreement mirrors other <br />19 employee contracts relative to wages, health care, etc. He is recommending approval. <br />20 3B) Consider First Reading of Ordinance No. O1-16, Amending Chapter 505 of the <br />21 Lino Lakes Code of Ordinances <br />22 3C) Consider First Reading of Ordinance No. 02-16, Amending Chapter 1002 of the <br />23 Lino Lakes Code of Ordinances <br />24 Administrator Karlson reviewed Items 313 and 3C, both relating to changes to the city <br />25 code that are basically housekeeping. One provides for an amendment that indicates that <br />26 burning permits will be issued by the Public Safety Department. The second ordinance <br />27 amends the code to state that the fire department for the city is now the Lino Lakes Fire <br />28 Department and also that they will administer the state fire code. <br />29 Council Member Rafferty asked if the Lino Lakes Fire Department will be providing <br />30 more building inspection services. Public Safety Director Swenson explained that there <br />31 are goals in place for the inspection program and they are on the way to meeting those, <br />32 including annual inspections for businesses in the city. <br />33 3D) Consider First Reading of Ordinance No. 0346, Amending Title 600, Chapters <br />34 601, 611, 612 and 615 of the Lino Lakes Code of Ordinances Relating to Business <br />35 and Activity Licenses — City Clerk Bartell explained that some language within the city <br />36 code has been identified for change to meet current requirements of the Minnesota <br />37 Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and their assistance to the Lino Lakes Police Division <br />38 in gaining information for background checks. The ordinance responds to the need to <br />39 make these changes. <br />40 6A) Consider Resolution No. 16-38, Approving Amendments to the Designated <br />41 Municipal State Aid Street System —City Engineer Hankee reviewed the staff report <br />1 <br />
