Transmitted herewith is a copy of the Bid Tabulation for your information and file. Copies will also be distributed to each Bidder once the Project has been awarded. There were a total of 3 Bids. The Bid Forms of each Bidder were reviewed for conformance and accuracy and were found to be in order with the exception of one mathematical error. This error occurred on Item No. 6 of the Bid Form submitted by TMI. This error has been corrected in conformance with the Contract Documents as shown on the attached Bid Tabulation An Alternate Bid Item {No. 1 and tabulated below) was included on the Bid Form. This deductive alternate was offered to determine a potential cost savings for painting the City logo on the tank in only one color as opposed to the City's standard multi -color logo. Painting, Inc. with a Total Base Bid Amount of $926,250.00 The Bid amount compares to the Engineer's Opinion of Probable Costs of $1,000,000. KLM Engineering has worked with M.K. painting on 6 to 8 projects over the past several years. In their experience, M.K. painting is qualified and is competent to do the work contained in the Project Manual. Resign with community in mind
