<br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 16-47 <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT <br />FOR FIESTA CANCUN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramon Ruelas, Manager of Fiesta Cancun has submitted an application for a <br />special event permit for an event to be held on July 11, 2016, at their business located 7090 21st <br />Avenue from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this type of event requires ongoing communication and instruction, staff <br />recommends that conditions of approval be attached and incorporated into this resolution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has expressed a willingness to be bound to the conditions <br />recommended by staff (Attachment A) and to continue to work with staff to address additional <br />concerns which may arise; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Public Safety Department has reviewed the application and event <br />plans; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, proof of general liability and liquor liability insurance has been submitted by the <br />applicant; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, <br />Minnesota: <br /> <br />That the City Council authorizes issuance of a special event permit to Fiesta Cancun for event on <br />July 11, 2016 subject to the attached conditions (Attachment A). <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13th day of June, 2016. <br /> <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />_____________and was duly seconded by Council Member ______________ and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />The following voted against same: <br /> <br />_____________________ <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />________________________ <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
