Consider 2nd Reading and Adoption of Ordinance No. 1246 <br />57 Establishing the 2017 City Fee Schedule, ii) Resolution No. 16458 Approving Summary <br />58 Publication of Ordinance No. 1246 — Finance Director Cotton reviewed the written staff report, <br />59 including the changes that are being requested. If the ordinance is approved the fees will be effective <br />60 in January of 2017. <br />61 Council Member Kusterman moved to waive the full reading of Ordinance No. 12-16 as presented. <br />62 Council Member Manthey seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />67 <br />68 ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />69 <br />70 3A) Consider 2nd Reading of Ordinance No. 1146, Amending Title 200, Chapters 211,212 <br />71 and 217 of the Lino Lakes Code of Ordinances Relating to Advisory Boards — Administrator <br />72 Karlson explained that staff is requesting approval of the 2pd Reading and adoption of this ordinance <br />73 that would amend the city code to provide additional compensation for city advisory board members. <br />74 Mayor Reinert noted that it's been a long time since the stipend for these individuals has been <br />75 increased. <br />76 <br />77 Council member Kusterman moved to waive the full reading of Ordinance No. 11-16 as presented. <br />78 Council Member Manthey seconded the motion. Motion carried; Yeas, 5; Nays none. <br />82 <br />83 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />84 4A) Consider Resolution No. 16444, Accepting Traffic Safety Grant State fiscal years of <br />85 2017 & 2018 Renewal — Public Safety Director Swenson explained that staff is seeking authorization <br />86 to execute a grant (as a renewal) with the State of Minnesota to provide funds for salary and benefits <br />87 for one police officer to provide traffic safety services in the city and for attendance at an annual <br />88 conference. <br />2 <br />
