Consider 2nd Reading and Adoption of Ordinance No. 12-16 56 Establishing the 2017 City Fee Schedule; ii) Resolution No. 16-158 Approving Summary 57 Publication of Ordinance No. 12-16 – Finance Director Cotton reviewed the written staff report, 58 including the changes that are being requested. If the ordinance is approved the fees will be effective 59 in January of 2017. 60 Council Member Kusterman moved to waive the full reading of Ordinance No. 12-16 as presented. 61 Council Member Manthey seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 62 Council Member Kusterman moved to approve the 2nd Reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 12-16 63 as presented. Council Member Manthey seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 66 67 ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT 68 69 3A) Consider 2nd Reading of Ordinance No. 11-16, Amending Title 200, Chapters 211, 212 70 and 217 of the Lino Lakes Code of Ordinances Relating to Advisory Boards – Administrator 71 Karlson explained that staff is requesting approval of the 2nd Reading and adoption of this ordinance 72 that would amend the city code to provide additional compensation for city advisory board members. 73 Mayor Reinert noted that it’s been a long time since the stipend for these individuals has been 74 increased. 75 76 Council member Kusterman moved to waive the full reading of Ordinance No. 11-16 as presented. 77 Council Member Manthey seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 78 79 Council Member Rafferty moved to approve the 2nd Reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 12-16 as 80 presented. Council Member Maher seconded the motion. Motion carried; Yeas, 5; Nays none. 81 82 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT 83 4A) Consider Resolution No. 16-144, Accepting Traffic Safety Grant State fiscal years of 84 2017 & 2018 Renewal – Public Safety Director Swenson explained that staff is seeking authorization 85 to execute a grant (as a renewal) with the State of Minnesota to provide funds for salary and benefits 86 for one police officer to provide traffic safety services in the city and for attendance at an annual 87 conference. 88
