COUNCIL MINUTES May 8, 2017 <br />APPROVED <br />224 Mr. Trehus asked if the design process will culminate with a report that the public can comment on? <br />225 Ms. Hankee said it will be design and specificatons and they will be presented at a neighborhood <br />226 meeting. <br />227 <br />228 Mr. Trehus noted his questions about the difference between reclamation and total reconstruction. <br />229 Ms. Hankee said she will respond to Mr. Trehus after the meeting. <br />230 <br />231 Mayor Reinert suggested that everyone has the same goal — a good project that everyone can be happy <br />232 with. He commits to working together. <br />233 <br />234 Council Member Kusterman moved to approve Resolution No. 1742 as presented. Council Member <br />235 Manthey seconded the motion. <br />236 <br />237 Council Member Rafferty said he has heard comments and questions about how people are brought to <br />238 the information (do they receive a mailing)? Engineer Hankee remarked that staff did not hear that <br />239 anyone was not notifyed and she personally checked the list. <br />240 <br />241 Engineer Hankee offered a suggestion to address the discussion relative to location of a storm pond: <br />242 add to Page 7 of the report "multiple properties will be evaluated for stormwater basin within the <br />243 block north or south of the low area". Council Member Rafferty suggested "multiple properties or <br />244 possibilities within a block south and block north". Director Grochala explained that ultimately <br />245 there will be a basin on someone's property and there are criteria that will drive that location <br />246 recommendation. <br />247 <br />246 Council Member Kusterman amended his motion to include Engineer Hankee's suggestion. Council <br />249 Member Manthey concurred. Council Member Kusterman moved to approve Resolution No. 1742 <br />250 with the amendment to the Feasibility Report (above). Council Member Manthey seconded the <br />251 motion.
