CITY `' " ;� 0 F <br />RNOKES <br />Installation of Two Air Conditioning Systems <br />at the Civic Complex <br />Project scope: <br />The City of Lino Lakes will be_ accepting_ bids_ for the following work to be performed by <br />responsible contractors. The city has the right to accept or refuse any or all bids. <br />The city of Lino Lakes will be purchasing the equipment as specified below. The awarded <br />contractor will be responsible for labor and any additional materials per specifications to <br />install new R410A air conditioning units for the City of Lino Lakes. Equipment should <br />include one (1) 40 ton condensing unit and matching evaporator coil for the City Hall office <br />area (CU1) and one (1) 40 ton condensing unit and matching evaporator coil for the Police <br />station wing (CU4). <br />Installation will require utilizing existing refrigerant lines. The contractor is responsible for <br />cleaning the lines to industry's specifications and standards. The contractor will be <br />responsible for coordination of shipping, handling craning and setting of new equipment <br />supplied by City of Lino Lakes. The City of Lino Lakes public works department will provide <br />a front end loader and work with contractor on the removal and placement of equipment <br />due to limited access. The new installation shall include new liquid lines, suction line drier <br />shells and refrigeration isolation valves for changing drier cores. The contractor shall <br />provide new UV rated pipe insulation on exterior and new insulation on interior for all <br />areas that it is removed from. The awarded contractor will be responsible for verification <br />of all electrical circuits and to provide all necessary electrical modifications. The awarded <br />contractor will be responsible for the coordination of all building automation with existing <br />automation contractor as specified by the City. <br />The contractor is responsible for utilizing industry standard reclamation and recycling <br />programs for all refrigerants removed and recycling of removed equipment. Contractor <br />required to reuse or provide new refrigeration line shed roofs for protection from falling <br />ice. Factory trained start up personnel required for start up and processing of paperwork <br />for warranty. Upon final completion, the contractor will work with the city staff to finalize <br />and submit any rebate information to Xcel Energy. <br />New equipment specifications: <br />City Hall-CU1 <br />(1) McQuay model RCS -040D (nominal 40 -ton) scroll type air-cooled condensing unit <br />(CU -1) with: <br />• 11.3 EER at AHRI conditions of 95 F ambient, 45 F SST <br />• Copeland scroll type refrigeration tandem compressors with dual refrigeration <br />circuits <br />• 100-75-50-25-0% unloading <br />
