CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 1F <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Lisa Hogstad-Osterhues, Deputy Clerk <br />MEETING DATE: March 27, 2017 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 17-28, Approving a Peddler License for <br />Michael Morency, Edward Jones Financial <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />BACKGROUND <br />A representative from Edward Jones Financial, 39461 8th Avenue, North Branch, MN has <br />submitted a peddler's license application to the city clerk's office. The company <br />representative who will be working in Lino Lakes is Mr. Michael Morency. He plans to <br />travel through Lino Lakes' neighborhoods going door to door offering financial services <br />to interested potential clients. <br />The City has received all the necessary forms required to issue this company a license. <br />The Public Safety Department has conducted a background check and found no reason to <br />deny the license. <br />The application and all other required information is on file in the city clerk's office for <br />review. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve Resolution No. 17-28, Approving the issuance of a Peddler License for a six <br />month period commencing April 1, 2017. <br />
