AGENDA ITEM 11A <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: David Ahrens, Public Works Director/City Engineer <br />DATE: 1/19196 <br />TOPIC: Accept Bids - Marshan Lake Condominium Street and Utility <br />Improvements <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On December 18, 1995, the plans and specifications for the Marshan Lake <br />Condominium Street and Utility Project were approved and an advertisement for <br />bids was ordered. A location map is attached with this report along with <br />drawings illustrating the improvments. Thirteen bids were received and opened <br />on Thursday, January 18, 1996. Staff is requesting Council to accept the bids at <br />this time. Staff will provide a recommendationof award of contract at a later <br />council meeting. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Return to staff for further review. <br />2. Adopt the following proposed motion: to accept the bids for the Marshan Lake <br />Condominium Street and Utility Project. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the following proposed motion be adopted: to accept the <br />bids for the Marshan Lake Condominium Street and Utility Project. <br />
