AGENDA ITEM NO. 12A <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR David Ahrens, Public W <br />Director/City Engineer <br />DATE January 19,1996 <br />TOPIC <br />Consideration of Appointing Rocky <br />Keehn to the Vadnais Lake Area Water <br />Management Organization <br />BACKGROUND; <br />The Vadnais Lake Area Water Management Organization (VLAWMO) is <br />an organization similar to the Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD). <br />VLAWMO covers the southeast portion of Lino Lakes not covered by <br />RCWD. The management organization of VLAWMO consists of persons <br />representing each municipality affected by VLAWMO. <br />Rocky Keehn, an engineer with SEH and a resident of Lino Lakes, has <br />represented Lino Lakes in this organization for approximately a year. Mr. <br />Keehn has expressed interest in continuing in this position. <br />OPTIONS <br />1. Adopt a motion appointing Mr. Keehn to the VLA MO for one year. <br />2. Return smatter to staff for further information. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Option No. 1 <br />
