Anderson, Clerk -Treasurer <br />DATE January 181996 <br />TOPIC <br />Consideration of Tax Forfeit Properties <br />in Lino Lakes <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Five (5) parcels of property in the City of Lino Lakes have forfeited to the <br />State of Minnesota because of delinquent property taxes. All of the par <br />are now in the repurchase period which expires in May. If the parcels are <br />not repurchased, they will be sold at a County auction. <br />The Anoka County Land Commission has asked the City Council to <br />approve the classification and sale of the parcels. The parcels include: <br />1. Oudot D, D. Erickson's Second Addition <br />2. Ootlot E, D. Erickson's Second Addition <br />3. C tlot F, D. Erickson's Second Addition <br />4. A triangle parcel between Lots 12 and 13, Block <br />Second Addition <br />5. Lot 11, Block 2, Lino Air Park <br />Outlots D and E, D. Erickson's Second Addition are small parcels that were <br />left over when the subdivision was platted. The City Engineer and the <br />Planning Coordinator agree that there is no public use for these parcels and <br />it is in the best interest of the City to allow the parcels to be placed on the <br />County auction. <br />Oudot F, D. Erickson's Second Addition is directly across Pheasant Run <br />from the City park. The Parks and Recreation Director has asked that this <br />
