A total of thirteen responsive bids were received. C.W. <br />Houle, Inc., submitted the lowest base bid in the amount of $540,153.40. The bids were <br />checked for mathematical accuracy and the tabulation is enclosed. The engineer's base bid <br />estimate was $626,662.00. <br />C.W. Houle, Inc., has successfully completed projects for OSM and the City of Lino Lakes. <br />City staff has worked with the contractor in other municipalities. Based on their previous <br />performance on similar projects, we anticipate that C.W. Houle, Inc., is capable of <br />successfully completing the Marshan Lake Condominium project. <br />We, therefore, recommend award for the contract to C.W.
