ORDINANCE NO. 05 - 96 <br />Page -2- <br />property and who occupies or intends to occupy the property. If <br />the owner exhibits inability to properly install the electrical wiring <br />in accordance with the National Electrical Code, his/her permit <br />must be canceled and an electrical contractor must permit and <br />complete the installation. The unused portion of the owners permit <br />fee will be refunded. <br />C. Any violation of this article, including a failure to file a permit <br />when required, shall be a misdemeanor violation subject to all the <br />penal provisions of this Code and the State Electrical Act. Any <br />person who shall commence work of any kind for which a permit <br />is required under the provisions of this Code without first having <br />received the necessary permit therefor shall, when subsequently <br />receiving such permit, be required to pay double the fees provided <br />in this article. <br />Section 2: Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and <br />after 30 days following its passage and publication, in accordance with <br />Section 3.09 of the City Charter. <br />Passed by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this day of May, 1996. <br />John L.
