e. Has discharged a firearm other than: <br />1) During a firearm training exercise or firearm testing <br />on an established firing range. <br />2) When shooting sick or injured animals. <br />3) While engaged in recreational hunting or shooting. <br />G. Routine Physical Examination Testing <br />1. The City may request or require an employee to undergo drug and <br />alcohol testing as part of a routine physical examination provided <br />the drug or alcohol test is requested or required no more than once <br />annually and the employee has been given at least two weeks' <br />written notice that a drug or alcohol test may be requested or <br />required as part of the physical examination. <br />H. Random Testing <br />1. The City may request or require any employee in a safety sensitive <br />position to undergo drug and alcohol testing on a random selection <br />basis. <br />I. Treatment Program Testing <br />1. An employee who has been referred for a chemical dependency <br />evaluation and/or treatment program may be required, during the <br />treatment period and for a period of up to two years after <br />completion, to undergo testing without notice. <br />J. Procedure <br />1. Before requesting an employee or job applicant to undergo drug or <br />alcohol testing, the employee or job applicant shall be provided <br />with a copy of the City Drug and Alcohol Testing Notification <br />Form. On the form the employee or job applicant will indicate the <br />following: <br />a. That the employee or job applicant has seen the policy on <br />Drug and Alcohol Testing. <br />
