COUNCIL MEETING JANUARY 9, 1995 <br />The property owner and potential purchaser feel the new <br />configuration will be more useable for both Mr. LaCasse and the <br />potential buyer. Staff concurred and recommended approval of the <br />minor subdivision. <br />Council Member Elliott moved to approve the minor subdivision <br />(reconfiguration) as submitted. Council Member Kuether seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Consideration of Final Plat, Oaks of Lino - Ms. Wyland used the <br />overhead projector and showed the location of the proposed <br />subdivision. <br />The City Council approved the preliminary plat for the Oaks of <br />Lino on December 13, 1993. The property is located south of <br />Birch Street and east of the D. Erickson Second Addition. The <br />roadway serving the plat is an extension of Aspen Lane. The plat <br />contains nine (9) lots and is Zoned Single Family (R-1). <br />Staff has reviewed the final plat, the Development Agreement and <br />financial guarantees and recommends approval. <br />Council Member Elliott moved to approve the final plat of Oaks of <br />Lino. Council Member Bergeson seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT, JOHN POWELL <br />Consideration of Resolution No. 95 - 03 Declaring Adequacy of <br />Petition and Ordering Preparation of a Feasibility Report for <br />Woods of Baldwin Lake, Second Addition - Mr. Powell explained <br />that the developer of this subdivision has not presented the <br />petition for improvements to the City and asked that this item be <br />delayed until the January 23, 1995 City Council meeting. There <br />was no further Council action on this matter. <br />ATTORNEY'S REPORT, BILL HAWKINS <br />Consideration of an Easement Grant for the Hodgson Road Watermain <br />Improvement Project from Roger A. and Gail B. Weaver, Vivian E. <br />Hanson, Richard J. Gevay and Rodney M. and Cheryl A. Stephenson - <br />Mr. Hawkins explained that a number of easements have been <br />negotiated at the compensation rate determined by the City <br />Appraiser. Mr. Hawkins recommended that the City Council accept <br />the easements and authorize payment as follows: Roger A. and <br />Gail B. Weaver, $1,429.00; Vivian E. Hanson, $9,280.00; Richard <br />J. Gevay, $1306.00; and Rodney M. and Cheryl A. Stephenson, <br />$1316.00. Council Member Kuether moved to approve the request as <br />PAGE 3 <br />
