The Firefighter Explorer Program was investigated by June Rodriguez. This
program looks to be a positive program but will require many ongoing hours
of work. It was decided not to start up this program at this time.
The volunteer residential inspections was started during the last part of the
year and will continue in the future.
The County Wide Juvenile Firesetters Taskforce is a continuing program for
juveniles with a fire related problem. This committee (which Centennial Fire
is part of) meets quarterly, at a minimum, to discuss possible problems, and
possible improvements for the program. There is also a monthly training
session for the juveniles involved and our staff conducts some of this
training. There has been ten children from the Centennial Fire District area
who have attended.
Fire Marshal Staff is as follows:
June Rodriguez - Fire Marshal
Kathy Mischke - Assistant Fire Marshal
Marc Stark - Assistant Fire Marshal
Thierry Chevallier - Fire Inspector / Investigator
Dave Bruder - Fire Inspector / Investigator
Stu Domitz - Preplan Specialist
Brian Colvard - Investigator
Jim Scott - Investigator
Mike Broker - Investigator
I would like to give special thanks to all the firefighters who assisted in all of
the programs. Your dedication is appreciated and has made our cities a
better and safer place to live.
Thank you!
Respectfully Submitted,
June Rodriguez
Fire Marshal
Page 5
