STAPF ORIGINATOR Alan Brixius, NAC
DATE April 21, 1995
TOPIC 95-5-P, Preliminary
Farms
This portion of the Behm's Century Farms request involves a
preliminary plat for 105 single family lots to be constructed in
three phases. The request is outlined in detail in the Planning
Consultant's memo dated April 7, 1995.
The City's Park Board reviewed this request at, their April 3, 1995
meeting. At that time the developer agreed to provide a trail
connecting this plat with City Park Property to the west. Exact
trail locations need to be worked out with the Rice Creek Watershed
District. The Park Board, therefore, tabled the item until exact
locations can be determined.
The Planning & Zoning Board reviewed this request and recommended
approval at their Apri12, 1995 meeting with the conditions
outlined in the staff report. Mr. Mesich`voted nay, preferring to
see the MUSA Amendment complete prior to approval of the
preliminary plat.
1. Approve preliminary plat with conditions outlined in staff
report dated April 7, 1995
2. Return to staff for further consideration
