,ino Lakes City Council
This letter serves to represent our appreciation for the
efforts of Mr. Marty Asleson and the Park Board in addressing
our concerns over the Brandywood Park.
Per our discussions with members of the park planning
committee, we now look forward to assisting in the development
of the park according to the plan.
Per our discussions, Friday, June 30, 1995, it was established
that the basketball court would be put on hold until the funds
were available to complete it. This will entail leaving the
existing tree stands until the funds are available.
We also understand that it has been acknowledged that the final
park plan neglected to include a wetland area behind 6522 White
Oak. This slightly changes the tree clearing lines of the
park, but these changes were effected by the park board without
causing concerns to the overall plan.
It was also agreed that should parking problems develop in
future, these will be addressed in a timely fashion. (ie.
residential parking only areas)
Lastly, we as a group look forward to working with Mr. Asieson
and the park board in any reforestation, project that may be
available.
We appreciate the promptness with which our concerns were
addressed, and look forward to working together with the
neighborhood in making the Brandywood Park an area that both
children and adults can enjoy.
