Dogs that have been specially trained and certified to perform tasks to assist people, such as handicapped assistance, police canine duties or search and rescue, as wells as do gs that are engaged in a lawful hunt while under the control of a licensed hunter through voice command. 503.12(1) (a) and 503.12(1) (c) All dogs must be confined or restrained on the owner's property by leash, cord, chain, enclosure or fencing.
