COUNCIL MINUTES July 10, 2017 <br />APPROVED <br />212 6C) Consider Resolution No. 17-63 Approving Preliminary Plat for Houle Addition — City <br />213 Planner Larsen reviewed her written staff using a PowerPoint presentation: <br />214 - A map showing the location and outlining proposed development; <br />215 - A preliminary plat of Lot 1; <br />216 - History of the property (the late Mr. Vaughn was owner and received approval but it was not <br />217 recorded); there was an island project proposed also; <br />218 - One unit of park dedication fee. <br />219 <br />220 Mayor Reinert recalled the history of the area. The original developer wasn't able to put a <br />221 development fully together before he passed. The land is high and buildable and will probably be <br />222 discussed again in the future. <br />223 <br />224 Council Member moved to approve Resolution No. 17-63 as presented. Consider Resolution No. 17-67 Approving Development Agreement <br />232 <br />233 City Planner Larsen reviewed a PowerPoint presentation: <br />234 - Aerial snap showing the project; <br />235 - Spliting a one -acre lot into four acres; <br />236 - A nearly split occurred recently; <br />237 - The plat itself with roadway dedication was reviewed; <br />238 - Stormwater plans; <br />239 - Park dedication on new lots; <br />240 - Variances: 1) lot size reductions to varying sizes; 2) reduced lot depth; 3) lot width on third <br />241 property; (same variances were approved for other developments in the area) <br />242 - Resolutions were reviewed. <br />243 <br />244 Mayor Reinert noted the variances and the history of past consideration. <br />245 <br />246 Council Member Maher asked for clarification on the previous developments in the area. <br />247 <br />248 Council Member Rafferty moved to approve Resolution No. 17-64 as presented. Council Member <br />249 Maher seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />250 <br />251 Council Member Rafferty moved to approve Resolution No. 17-65 as presented.
