VIII_TAANSP $T yEHICLE,p1CKUP <br />A_ The transport vehicle shall be available for pickup Friday at 1800 hours. <br />B. Transport vehicle keys may be picked up from central control in the jail <br />facility. <br />1 Transport officers will be Issued the keys through the window on the <br />public skyway. <br />2. Transport officers must identify themselves using a departmental ID <br />when picking up the keys. <br />C. Transport officers will complete a vehicle inventory prior to clearing the <br />facility. <br />IX_ TRANSPORT VEHICLE RETURN <br />A. A vehicle inventory shall be completed upon returning the vehicle to the <br />facility. <br />B. The completed Inventory sheet and vehicle keys shail be returned to the jail <br />facilities central control. <br />C. Transport officers should notify the on duty supervisor in the facility tf any <br />of the following apply: <br />1. The vehicle is In need of maintenance or repair. <br />2. Supplies or equipment need to be replaced. <br />X. TBANSPORT VEHICLE EQUIPMENT <br />A. Each transport vehicle shall be equipped with: <br />1. 6 Sets of handcuffs <br />2. 6 transport belts <br />3. 2 sets of leg Irons <br />4. 1 First Aid kit <br />5. 1 o2 bottle <br />a. 1 positive pressure mask <br />b. 1 standard mask <br />XI. RADIO USAGE AND OPEAAT1Qf1S <br />A. The transport vehicle will provide an eta upon receipt of a reouast for <br />transport. <br />B. County wide transport will use the following radio calf signs: <br />1. 5Z55 (5 Zebra 55) <br />C. Channel three will be used for all transport vehicle radio traffic. <br />XII. TRANSPORT VEHICLE LOG <br />A. The log will be filled out for every person transported. <br />B. Information required for the transport log is: <br />1. Full name of prisoner <br />2. Transport start time and location <br />3. Transport end time and destination <br />4. Classification of prisoner transported (misdemeanor, gross <br />misdemeanor or felony) <br />5. The total number of transported prisoner <br />6. Name, department and badge numbers of transport officers <br />C.
