1St Reading: May 23 , 2016 <br />Publication: <br />June <br />21 , <br />2016 <br />2nd Reading: June 13 , 2016 <br />Effective: <br />July <br />21 . <br />2016 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />ORDINANCE NO. 01-16 <br />AMENDING TITLE 500, CHAPTER 505 OF THE LINO LAKES CODE OF <br />ORDINANCES RELATING TO OPEN BURNING. <br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, does ordain: <br />Section 1. That Section 505.02, of the Lino Lakes Code of Ordinances be <br />amended as follows: <br />505.02 DEFINITIONS. <br />FIRE CHIEF. The <br />Safety Director <br />Public <br />FIRE MARSHAL and ASSISTANT FIRE MARSHALS. The Public Safety <br />Director or his/her designee, who is acting in good faith to enforce the Minnesota State <br />Fire Code and local ordinances. <br />Section 2. That Section 505.05, Subdivision 3(a), of the Lino Lakes Code of <br />Ordinances be amended as follows: <br />505.05 OPEN BURNING PERMITS. <br />(3) Permit application for open burning and permit fees. <br />(a) Open burning permits shall be obtained by making application on a form <br />adopted by the Public Safety Department. The permit application <br />shall be presented to the Fire Chief, Fire Marshal or an Assistant Fire Marshal. Each <br />application shall be accompanied by a fee, as set annually by City Council ordinance. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 13 day of June, 2016. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing ordinance was introduced by Council <br />Member Kusterman and was duly seconded by Council Member Maher and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />Kusterman, Maher, Manthey, Rafferty <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Ju e Bartell, City ler <br />Jeff Rein , rayor <br />
