CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 3A <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Jeff Karlson <br />MEETING DATE: June 13, 2016 <br />TOPIC: Consider 2nd Reading of Ordinance No. 01-16 <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />INTRODUCTION <br />Staff is requesting City Council consideration of a second reading of Ordinance No. 01-16, <br />"Amending Title 500, Chapter 505 of the Lino Lakes Code of Ordinances Relating to Open <br />Burning." <br />BACKGROUND <br />This amendment simply states that open burning permits shall be obtained through the Public <br />Safety Department instead of the Centennial Fire District. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve 2nd reading of Ordinance No. 01-16, "Amending Title 500, Chapter 505 of the Lino <br />Lakes Code of Ordinances Relating to Open Burning," with the following actions: (1) dispense <br />with the full reading of the ordinance; and (2) a roll call vote for adoption of the ordinance. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />Ordinance No. 01-16 <br />
