Consider Resolution No. 16-74 Approving Summary <br />Publication of Ordinance No. 06-16 <br />*Council may vote to dispense with full reading of ordinance <br />* Roll call vote is required for adoption of the ordinance <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />INTRODUCTION <br />Staff is requesting City Council consideration of the 2"d reading of the Ordinance No. 06-16 to <br />a amend the text of the "Lino Lakes Town Center Design & Development Guide", which was <br />adopted by Ordinance No. 04-04. <br />BACKGROUND <br />D.R. Horton, Inc. - Minnesota submitted a land use application for PUD Development <br />Stage/Preliminary Plat review and a text amendment for the "Lino Lakes Town Center Design <br />& Development Guide'. The proposed development is a 112 unit attached townhome project <br />on 11.2 acres in the Town Center (Outlots B and C of the Village No. 3). The proposed project <br />is called "Woods Edge". <br />The The Planning & Zoning staff report dated June 8, 2016 and the City Council staff report <br />dated July 11, 2016 details the project. <br />Rezoning <br />The parcel is currently zoned PUD (Planned Unit Development). The Planning and Zoning <br />Board held a public hearing on June 8, 2016. The Board found the proposal meets the criteria <br />for rezoning as detailed in Ordinance No. 06-16. <br />1 <br />
