COUNCIL MINUTES January 14, 2013 <br /> APPROVED <br /> 91 <br /> 92 Council Member O'Donnell indicated that he is not in favor of the resolution. He said that he had <br /> ,_ 93 indicated his concerns on the implications of the resolution when it was discussed at the council work <br /> 94 session. <br /> 95 <br /> 96 Mayor Reinert commented on court decisions on the impact of the MGDPA and how they wrongly <br /> 97 place elected officials in this position. <br /> 98 <br /> 99 Council Member Roeser announced that he has closely reviewed the resolution and he feels it <br /> 100 appropriately is very narrow in its scope. He said he also understands that the matter will be heard by <br /> 101 the Minnesota Supreme Court and he sees that Lino Lakes is in the lead with this move and <br /> 102 appropriately so. <br /> 103 <br /> 104 The motion was adopted on a voice vote. Council Member O'Donnell recorded as voting "no". <br /> 105 <br /> 106 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT <br /> 107 <br /> 108 There was no report from the Public Safety Department. <br /> 109 <br /> 110 PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT <br /> 111 <br /> 112 There was no report from the Public Services Department. <br /> 113 <br /> '.14 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT REPORT <br /> 115 <br /> 116 6A) Resolution No. 13-02, Environmental Board Goals for 2013 —Environmental Coordinator <br /> 117 Asleson briefly reviewed the goals established for 2013. The council requested and Mr. Asleson <br /> 118 provided additional information on the community garden program. <br /> 119 <br /> 120 Council Member O'Donnell moved to approve Resolution No. 13-02 as presented. Council Member <br /> 121 Roeser seconded the motion.
