It includes some recent language changes in franchises, most not substantive, but one <br /> 66 having to do with restoration of public grounds and another removing the requirement for <br /> 67 construction performance bonds. Staff is recommending approval of first reading. <br /> 68 <br /> 69 Council Member O'Donnell moved to approve first reading of Ordinance No. 06-12 as presented. <br /> 70 Council Member Roeser seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br /> 71 <br /> 72 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT <br /> 73 <br /> 74 There was no report from the Public Safety Department. <br /> 75 <br /> 76 PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT <br /> 77 <br /> 78 There was no report from the Public Services Department. <br /> 79 <br /> 80 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT REPORT <br /> 81 <br /> 82 Item 6A was removed from the agenda. <br /> 83 <br /> 84 6B) Resolution No. 13-12,Joint Powers Agreement with Anoka County regarding the I35W <br /> 85 Pedestrian Bridge project—Community Development Director Grochala explained that the council <br /> 86 previously approved the plans and specifications for this project that is expected to be completed by <br /> 87 fall 2013. The agreement before the council sets forward the responsibilities of the different <br /> 88 jurisdictions. The project is fully funded by the federal government and Anoka County. The city's <br /> 89 responsibilities will be maintenance on either side of the bridge (including long term maintenance). <br /> 90 <br /> 2 <br />
