Annual Appointments—Administrator Karlson noted that the list of annual appointments that is <br /> 60 considered by the City Council each year was reviewed at the January work session and has been <br /> 61 updated to reflect the council's directions. <br /> 62 <br /> 63 Council Member Roeser moved to approve the list of appointments as presented. Council Member <br /> 64 Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br /> 65 <br /> 66 3B. Resolution No. 12-01, Requesting No Change in Fiscal Disparities—Administrator Karlson <br /> 67 explained that Anoka County is requesting the support of its cities in resolving for the continuance of <br /> 68 the fiscal disparities program in the state. The council heard from Anoka County Commissioner and <br /> 69 Board Chair Rhonda Sivarajah at the January work session about the importance of the program to the <br /> 70 county and cities. <br /> 71 <br /> 72 Council Member Rafferty moved to approve Resolution No. 12-01 as presented. Council Member <br /> 73 Roeser seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br /> 74 <br /> 75 3C. 2nd Reading and Adoption of Ordinance No. 23-11, Amending Title 700, Chapters 701 and <br /> 76 702 of the Lino Lakes Code of Ordinances regarding Liquor and Beer, Licensing, adding On- <br /> 77 Sale Brewer Taproom License—City Clerk Bartell reported that based on direction from the City <br /> 78 Council and with the assistance of the City Attorney, staff brought forward an ordinance that adds a <br /> 79 new type of liquor license to the city code. A brewer taproom license would allow a State licensed <br /> 80 brewery to serve their product on-sale in a facility adjacent to their brewery. This type of license <br /> 81 would only be available to breweries meeting state and local liquor licensing requirements. The fee <br /> 82 for this license will be $500 per year. The council approved the first reading of the ordinance on <br /> 83 December 12. Staff is recommending that the council now approve the second reading of Ordinance <br /> 84 No. 23-11 amending the city code to include an On-Sale Brewer Taproom license. <br /> 85 <br /> 86 The Mayor noted that including this license in the city was an idea that was brought forward by <br /> 87 Council Member Roeser in response to brewery development that is popular now.
