COUNCIL MINUTES January 9,2012 <br /> APPROVED <br /> 134 Council Member O'Donnell moved to approve Resolution No. 12-04 as presented. Council Member <br /> L 135 Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br /> 136 <br /> 137 6C. Resolution No. 12-05,Accepting the Otter Lake Road Extension Feasibility Study- <br /> 138 Community Development Director Grochala noted that a copy of the study was distributed and <br /> 139 reviewed by the council at the January work session. Action requested is review of the document and <br /> 140 to set a public hearing for February 13, 2012. He introduced Engineer Jim Studenski, TKDA, who <br /> 141 reviewed the study (on file). A council member requested that he receive the study in electronic <br /> 142 form so he can distribute it to interested parties. <br /> 143 <br /> 144 Council Member O'Donnell moved to approve Resolution No. 12-05 as presented. Council Member <br /> 145 Roeser seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br /> 146 <br /> 147 6D. 2012 Street Maintenance Projects: <br /> 148 <br /> 149 i. Resolution No. 12-03,Authorizing Preparation of Plans and Specifications for the 2012 Street <br /> 150 Sealcoat Project. <br /> 151 <br /> 152 ii. Resolution No. 12-02, authorizing Preparation of Plans and Specifications for the 2012 Street <br /> 153 Overlay Project. <br /> 154 <br /> 155 City Engineer Wedel reported that in order to provide timely maintenance for city streets, the city has <br /> �.. 156 a Pavement Management Program in place. All streets in the city are reviewed once every four years <br /> 157 and rated for their condition. That information is the basis for recommendations for seal coating and <br /> 158 overlay. This year's recommendations are included in map provided to the council. He explained the <br /> 159 rationale for the process of sealcoating and overlay on the streets. <br /> 160 <br /> 161 Staff answered questions about the time that the pea rock is left on the street after the sealcoating. <br /> 162 The council asked staff to work on providing an interactive map on-line to show residents the future <br /> 163 plans for their street. <br /> 164 <br /> 165 Council Member Rafferty moved to approve Resolution No. 12-03, as presented. Council Member <br /> 166 O'Donnel seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br /> 167 <br /> 168 Council Member Stoesz moved to approve Resolution No. 12-02, as presented.
