Kuether <br />QUESTIONS ON BALLOT <br />QUESTION NO. 1 "Shall the City of Lino Lakes Ordinance No. 08 - 97, adopted <br />by the City Council on April 28,1997, and entitled An <br />Ordinance Regulating the Collection and Disposal of Refuse <br />and Solid Waste in the City, Establishing and Providing for the <br />Imposition and Collection of Fees for Collection Services, other <br />Materials, Prohibiting Unauthorized Collection and Failure to <br />Separate Recyclable and Other Materials and Providing <br />Penalties for Violation, be allowed to go into effect?" <br />Yes No <br />QUESTION NO. 2 The City Council of Lino Lakes is considering the <br />improvement and reconstruction of certain streets within the <br />City. The total cost is estimated to be $1,969,110.00. Twenty <br />eight percent (28%) of these costs are proposed to be paid by <br />levying special assessments against the benefited properties <br />within the subdivision, in accordance with standard City <br />assessment policies. The remaining seventy two percent (72%) <br />is proposed to be paid by money within the City General Fund <br />which will include property tall revenues generated from the <br />ehtire City. The City Charter requires voter approval before <br />uthig General Fund revenues for this purpose. <br />"Shall the City Council of Lino Lakes be authorized to pay for <br />a portion of the costs of local street improvements from the <br />General Fund of the City?" <br />Yes No <br />
