Kuether <br />OUESTIONS ON BALLOT <br />QUESTION NO. 1 "Shall the City of Lino Lakes Ordinance No. 08 - 97, adopted <br />by the City Council on April 28,1997, and entitled An <br />Ordinance Regulating the Collection and Disposal of Refuse <br />and Solid Waste in the City of Lino Lakes; Establishing and <br />Providing for a Solid Waste Collector; Establishing and <br />Providing for the Imposition and Collection of Fees for <br />Collection Services; other Materials; Prohibiting Unauthorized <br />Collection and Failure to Separate Recyclable and Other <br />Materials; and Providing Penalties for Violation, be allowed to <br />go into effect?" <br />Yes <br />QUESTION NO. 2 The City Council of Lino Lakes is considering the <br />improvement and reconstruction of certain streets within the <br />City. The total cost is estimated to be 51,969,110.00. Twenty <br />eight percent (28%) of these costs are proposed to be paid by <br />levying special assessments against the benefited properties <br />within the subdivision, in accordance with standard City <br />assessment policies. The remaining seventy two percent (72%) <br />is proposed to be paid by money within the City General Fund <br />which will include property tax revenues generated from the <br />entire City.
