COUNCIL MINUTES August 14, 2017 <br />APPROVED <br />90 <br />91 City Planner Larsen reviewed a PowerPoint presentation including information on: <br />92 - Location of proposal for brand new facility; <br />93 - Request for rezoning and conditional use; <br />94 - Current location of business; <br />95 - Site plan including new building location; <br />96 — Access plans, delivery limitations, fencing plans; <br />97 - Dumpster location; <br />98 - Rendering of proposed building; <br />99 - Review of upper and lower level of building; <br />100 - Review of exterior plans for building; <br />101 - Rezoning request; <br />102 - Conditional Use request (based on business); <br />103 — Planning and Zoning consideration (received one comment from nearby resident about traffic <br />104 and parking of trucks) and recommendation for approval. <br />105 <br />106 Mayor Reinert asked about the requests before the council; how can the ordinance receive second <br />107 reading in the future while the other actions go ahead before that? City Planner Larsen explained that <br />108 is how the actions are traditionally considered by the council and also language in the actions that <br />109 recognize that order. <br />110 <br />111 Council Member Maher asked about continuing operations and the construction schedule. Ms. <br />12 Larsen said the business will continue in the current facility while construction is underway; there will <br />113 be no down time. Council Member Maher added that she has had very good experience with the <br />114 business. <br />115 <br />116 Council Member Rafferty discussed with the business owner their plans for use of space and storage <br />117 of equipment. <br />118 <br />119 Council Member Manthey moved to approve the lst Reading of Ordinance No. 07-17, as presented. <br />120 Council Member Kusterman seconded the motion.
