ACTION <br />CHAPTER 8 OF CITY CHARTER <br />MINNESOTA STATUTES CHAPTER 429 <br />Ordering the <br />A. After petition: <br />A. After 100% petition: <br />improvement <br />No council action may be taken for 60 days after <br />The improvement may be ordered by Council resolution <br />the hearing (except as described below for 100% <br />(majority vote) any time after finding the petition <br />petitions). Any person whose name <br />appears on a petition to the Council for a local <br />improvement may withdraw his or her name before <br />the petition is presented to the council. <br />adequate (usually done at the same meeting). <br />If the improvement is not rejected by petition as <br />described above (and not subject to election as <br />described below), the council may by resolution <br />"proceed on the improvement" at any time <br />between 60 days and one year after the conclusion <br />of the public hearing.
