COUNCIL MINUTES August 28, 2017 <br />136 on the setback. A condition of the variance approval was relocation of a detached shed onto his <br />137 property. Unfortunately the shed was moved to the garage area thus requiring additional variance. <br />138 The matter has been reviewed by staff and the Planning and Zoning Board and a recommendation is <br />139 forwarded to approve the amendment to the variance. <br />140 <br />141 Council Member Manthey moved to approve Resolution No. 17-85, as presented. Council Member <br />142 Rafferty seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />143 <br />144 6D) Consider Resolution No. 17-90, Accepting Water Storage Siting Study and Authorizing <br />145 Geotechnical Evaluations — City Engineer Hankee reviewed a PowerPoint presentation including <br />146 information on: <br />147 - Identification of need for additional water storage; <br />148 - Storage types and size recommendation; <br />149 - Benefits of added storage; <br />150 - Estimated cost of varying types; <br />151 - Rationale for constructing a larger storage facility (current style is 1 million gallon and <br />152 recommendation is for 1.5 million gallon); <br />153 - Next step in process would be further evaluation of sites; <br />154 - Study recommendations; <br />155 - Project timeline. <br />156 <br />157 Council Member Rafferty remarked that some of the sites being considered are obviously more <br />158 developed than others. <br />159 <br />160 Council Member Manthey moved to approve Resolution No. 17-90, as presented. Council Member <br />161 Kusterman seconded the motion.
