<br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BASE BID AND ALTERNATES, AWARDING A
<br />CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT, AND APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
<br />CONTRACT, 2017 MILL AND OVERLAY PROJECT
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the 2017 Mill and
<br />Overlay Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids
<br />were received complying with the advertisement:

<br />WHEREAS, it appears that North Valley, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder;
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the best interests of the city to proceed with
<br />the construction oversight and administration,
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes:
<br />
<br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with North
<br />Valley, Inc., in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the 2017 Mill and
<br />Overlay Project according to the plans and specifications approved by the City Council and
<br />on file in the office of the City Clerk.
<br />
<br />2. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with WSB
<br />and Associates, Inc., in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction services of
<br />the 2017 Mill and Overlay Project in the amount of $38,883.00.
<br />
<br />3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidder the Bid
<br />Bonds made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
<br />two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
<br />
<br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 10th day of April, 2017.

<br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member
