Anoka County Multi-Jurisdictional <br />All Hazards Mitigation Plan <br /> 25 <br /> <br />jurisdiction for incorporation into the Anoka County Hazard Mitigation Plan. Plans and <br />documents reviewed by various members of the committee as pertinent to assigned tasks <br />include: <br /> <br /> Jurisdictional ordinances, regulations, and resolutions <br />Each Jurisdiction reviewed their documents to insure that all changes and <br />updates were included in the 2012 update. <br /> Anoka County Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) <br />The Anoka was updated in 2011 from Annexes to Emergency Support <br />Functions. The EOP was reviewed to insure consistency between the EOP <br />and the Countywide Hazard Mitigation Plan <br /> Anoka County Emergency Evacuation Plan <br /> Anoka County Community Health & Environmental Services Department All <br />Hazards Emergency Response and Recovery Plan <br /> Anoka County Schools Emergency Response/Crisis Management Plan <br /> SARA Title II facilities reporting documents and site emergency plans <br />These reports were reviewed for any updates and changes since 2005 and <br />used to create maps for the location of SARA Title II Facilities. <br /> State of Minnesota Hazard Mitigation Plan <br />Reviewed to insure hazards and risks to Anoka County were included in the <br />Countywide Hazard Mitigation Plan and goals for Anoka County <br />Jurisdictions compliment the State of Minnesota’s goals. <br /> FEMA Strategic Plan Fiscal Years 2011-2014 <br />Reviewed FEMA guidance to insure that the Anoka Countywide Hazard <br />Mitigation Plan compliments the vision in the FEMA Strategic Plan <br /> National Incident Management System (NIMS) <br />Anoka County Continues to use NIMSCAST to track training and compliance <br />with NIMS. The documents were reviewed to insure that Anoka County’s <br />Mitigation Plan conforms to NIMS requirements. <br /> U.S. Department of Homeland Security Framework Documents <br />The series of documents provide guidance on how the Federal Government <br />will cooperate and assist during incidents and events. These documents <br />were reviewed to insure that the Countywide Hazard Mitigation Plan <br />compliments and supports the Frameworks. <br /> FEMA National Flood Insurance: Program Description <br /> National Weather Service: Operations Present and Future <br /> FEMA State and Local Mitigation Planning How-to Guides <br />o Getting Started <br />o Developing the Mitigation Plan <br />o Integrating Human-Caused Hazards into Mitigation Planning <br />o Bringing the Plan to Life <br />This series of documents was reviewed to provide assistance and guidance <br />during the process of updating the Countywide Hazard Mitigation Plan <br /> <br />These documents, on file at Anoka County Emergency Management Agency in electronic or <br />hard copy format, provided valuable guidance in the planning process. <br /> <br />Some served to acquaint committee members with the many roles of emergency management. <br />Planning guides helped to tie together the phases of mitigation planning for committee members <br />from a broad range of backgrounds outside mitigation and emergency management.
