Approved <br />56 <br />57 Resolution No. 17-94, Approving Off -Sale Liquor and <br />58 Tobacco License for Clayton Gratz, Liquor Barrel Approved <br />59 <br />6o FINANCE DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />61 <br />62 There was no report from the Finance Department. <br />63 <br />64 ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />65 <br />66 3A) Consider 15t Reading of Ordinance No. 0947, Amending the Lino Lakes Code of <br />67 Ordinances by removing Section 611.10, Gambling Tax — City Clerk Bartell explained that the <br />68 ordinance presented for lst reading would amend the city's lawful gambling regulations. The <br />69 amendments: 1) remove language requiring payment of a tax to the city, recommended because the <br />70 city is now very limited in how it can utilize these tax funds. She added that staff intends to add an <br />71 annual investigation fee to the city fee schedule in lieu of the tax; and 2) remove the requirement for <br />72 gambling organizations to file monthly reports with the city. <br />73 <br />74 Council Member Rafferty moved to approve the I" Reading of Ordinance No. 09-17 as presented. <br />75 Council Member Maher seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />76 <br />77 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />78 <br />79 There was no report from the Public Safety Department. <br />80 <br />81 PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />82 <br />83 There was no report from the Public Services Department. <br />84 <br />85 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />86 <br />87 6A) Public Hearing; Consider 1st Reading of Ordinance No. 0847, Vacating Drainage <br />88 Easement on 520 62nd Street — City Planner Larsen first reported on the history of the parceling of <br />89 the property at which time easements were established. She reviewed the area that would be vacated <br />90 based on current plans for development of a house. An appropriate easement will be rededicated on <br />
