The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning Board was called to order at <br />8:15 P.M., Wednesday, January 17, 1979 by Mr. Gourley. Members present: Gourley, Reinert, <br />Jonnson, Heath. Members absent; Mattson, Shearen and Schwankl. <br />Mr. Reinert moved to approve the minutes of the November 15, 1978 meeting as prepared. <br />Mr. Gourley seconded the motion. Motion declared passed. <br />There were no minutes of the December 20, 1978 meeting. There had not been a quorum. <br />Election of Officers <br />Mr. Reinert nominated Mr. Gourley as Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Board for 1979. <br />Mr. Johnson seconded the motion. Mr. Reinert directed the Clerk to indicate an unanim- <br />ous ballot for Mr. Gourley. <br />Mr. Gourley nominated Mr. Reinert for Co -Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Board. Mr. <br />Johnson seconded the motion. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. McLean did not have a report. <br />Variance - Lee Robinson <br />Mr. Robinson requested a variance to add a parcel he now owns of Tess than 22 acres to <br />an existing parcel owned by Mr. Nelson. <br />The correct legal survey was now in the file and Mr. Reinert moved to recommend to Council <br />that the variance be granted. Mr. Johnson seconded the motion. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. Gourley told Mr. Robinson this request will be considered at Council on January 22, <br />1979. <br />Variance - Charles bloom <br />Mr. and Mrs. Bloom requested a variance to divide a lot of 22 acres into two lots of <br />14 acres. <br />Mr. McLean noted that there was a large pond on the northern most lot and that the City <br />Ordinance required one acre of buildable land to qualify for the variance. <br />Mr. Reinert moved to recommend to Council that this variance be denied. Mr. Johnson <br />seconded the motion. Motion declared passed. <br />Special Use Permit and Variance Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Cunningham <br />Mr. and Mrs. Cunningham have requested a Special Use Permit to establish a horse board- <br />ing facility and training and riding facility. <br />Mr. Reinert moved to recommend to Council that this Special Use Permit be granted subject <br />to payment of the fee. Mr. Johnson seconded the motion. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. and Mrs. Cunningham have requested a variance to construct an auxiliary building <br />before the primary building. They wish to build the barn now and the house later this <br />year. <br />Mr. Heath moved to recommend to Council that this variance be granted. Mr. Reinert seconded <br />the motion.
