Page -3- November 16, 1977 <br />Dellich stated that municipal chemicals will be distributed from this area. The Lindy <br />Company, one of their divisions will package some materials from this location. <br />Mr. Reinert asked if chemicals such as anhydrous ammonia willl be used at this site. Mr. <br />Dellich said at their East Hennepin site only. <br />Mr. Gourley asked if some of the chemicals wer flamable. Mr. Dellich said 'yes'. <br />Mr. Nadeau asked what size trucks would be coming into this facility. Mr. Dellich said <br />there would be a few semi -truck and trailers but mostly one ton size units. <br />Mr. Reinert asked if the hazardous chemicals were regulated by the State. Mr. Dellich said <br />they were regulated by PCA, OSHA and the State. <br />Mr. Hill asked if there could be any effluent getting into the air or ground. Mr. Dellich <br />said holding tanks would be installed if this type of chemical were to be used at this fac- <br />ility. <br />Mr. Gourley said that further information would be needed before action can be taken on this <br />rezoning request: <br />1. A certificate of survey for the entire parcel of land. <br />2. The City Engineer and Planner should review the request and submit their recommendations <br />to the Board. The Clerk will forward the necessary information to them. <br />3. The City Attorney Lando! Locher should check to see if the City needs to institute <br />any further controls. The Clerk will forward the necessary information to him. <br />4. Feed Rite Controls should check the fire services. Proper extinguishers will have <br />to be available on the site. <br />Mr. Hill asked Mr. Dellich how soon he would like a recommendation from the Planning and <br />Zoning Board. He said they would like to start work on the site as soon as the frost is <br />out of the ground. <br />Mr. McLean said this information will be forwarded to the Planner, Engineer and Attorney. <br />Copies of all correspondence received fromthese consultants will be sent on the Mr. Dellich <br />and he will be placed on the December 21, 1977 agenda. <br />Mar Don Plat - Marlin and Keith Tramm <br />Mr. Tramm presented a plat for Mar - Don Homes located on 77th Avenue on property formerly <br />owned by Amelia Husnik. Mr. Gourley told Mr. Tramm that the City Engineer had briefly <br />looked over the plat and said that the lots under the power line would be unbuildable. <br />Also a topographical survey would be needed and suggested he talk to Mr. Gotwald about it. <br />Mr. Nadeau asked Mr. Tramm if he wanted the Clerk to submit this plat to the City Engineer <br />and Planner for review or wait for a new concept drawing. Mr. Tramm said he would prefer <br />to wait for a new drawing. <br />Mr. Tramm asked if the City allowed platting in phases. He was told 'yes'. He also <br />asked if a building permit could be approved before the streets were completed. He was <br />told 'yes' if he posted a letter of credit or a bond. <br />Mr. Tramm will have his concept redrawn and bring it to City Hall for the City Planner <br />and Engineer to review. <br />Old Business <br />
