Page -4- October 20, 1976 <br />Mr. Harold Hanson spoke to the Board of his concern that the regulations concern- <br />ing platting would be changed during the period he is platting his,land. He tole <br />of the expense involved if changes had to be made. Mr. Gourley told him that the <br />Board can pretty well say that the standards will not change during the period he <br />is concerned about. <br />The Board thanked Mr. Hanson for coming tonight. <br />New Business <br />Mr. Gourley stated that he did not want to deviate from the rule that all business <br />to be considered by the Board be sent to the members at least 10 days in advance <br />of the meeting. He suggested there be a check list for the Clerk to use to deterrine <br />that all necessary information is ready for Board consideration on any given request. <br />He felt it all could be cut and dry. <br />Mr. Gourley suggested another item be added to the agenda, Item #3 entitled 'Mr. <br />McLean's Report of Council Action on Planning and Zoning items.' Mr. Gourley re- <br />quested that Board members receive copies of the Council minutes as well. <br />Mr. Gourley read a letter from Mr. Murphy of Stillwater Township. The letter requests <br />information regarding the best method of proceeding with a comprehensive plan for <br />the Metro Land Planning Act, 1976. Mr. Hill moved to send the letter to the Council <br />for a response. Mr. Karth seconded the motion. Motion carried. Mr. Gourley request- <br />ed that a copy of the letter be sent to all Board members. <br />Mr. Gourley reminded the members of the special meeting on October 27, 1976. <br />Mr. Kelling moved to adjourn at 11:08 P.M. Mr. Hill seconded the motion. Aye. <br />
