Mr. Le Vessuer asked the Planning and Zoning Board about splitting his lot on 77th Street. Mr. Nadeau moved that Mr. Le Vessuer get a certified sur- vey on the property and locate the drain fields on his new home. Seconded by Mr. Shearen. Motion carried. Mr. Le Vessuer was told the Board has no objections to thesplit but it would be necessary to have a certified survey for transfer of title. Mr. Edmundson presented his prelimary plat for 40 acres located at the end of 62nd Street. This plat contains 29 lots varing from 1 acre to 2 acres and is called 'Colonial Woods'. Mr. Gotwald informed the Board that he is part owner in this land but the plans had been drawn for them by another firm in order to avoid a confl- ict of interest. Mr. Edmundson said the lots had been drawn so as to conform with the nat- ural drainage and to preserve the trees. The streets will be completely installed before any building takes place. If this plat is approved, Mr. Edmundson ;•opes to have the street installed this fall. There is also an extra 162 foot easement along the South edge of the land to bring the easement to 33' for future development of a street. Mr. Edmundson was told it would be necessary to get some soil borings. This matter should then be sent to the Planner and the Engineer. Mr. Nadeau moved to recommend approval of the preliminary plat with the stipulation that at least 3 soil borings be completed, the soil typed and confirmed, the feasibility of on-site septic systems be confirmed; the plans be approved by the Planner and the Engineer and aneasement of 162 feet along the South edge for future road purposes. Also, money be accept- ed in lieu of land for park purposes. Seconded by Mr. Shearen. Motion carried. The resolution rquired by the Metro Council was discussed. Mr. Short said the proposed Resolution written by Mr. Starr ties this City to the Requirements as stipulated at the last meeting. Mr. Short had inquired about assistance from the Metro Council and he had received favorable accept- ance of his request. On the first page of the Resolution, under point 3, subdivision b, place a period after the word 'standards' in the second line and delete the re- mair.,;er of that sentence. Mr. Hill moved to recommend the adoption of this Resolution to the Council, with the above revision. Seconded by Mr. Karth. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Nadeau presented the Board with a list of three names where he felt residential property was being used as commercial. He felt these persons should be contacted and the matter investigated. Mr. Nadeau so moved. Seconded by Mr. Shearen. Motion carried. Mr. Shearen moved to adjourn at 11:30 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Nadeau. Aye.
