Motion carried. <br />Mr. Le Vessuer asked the Planning and Zoning Board about splitting his lot <br />on 77th Street. Mr. Nadeau moved that Mr. Le Vessuer get a certified sur- <br />vey on the property and locate the drain fields on his new home. Seconded <br />by Mr. Shearen. Motion carried. Mr. Le Vessuer was told the Board has <br />no objections to thesplit but it would be necessary to have a certified <br />survey for transfer of title. <br />Mr. Edmundson presented his prelimary plat for 40 acres located at the <br />end of 62nd Street. This plat contains 29 lots varing from 1 acre to 2 <br />acres and is called 'Colonial Woods'. <br />Mr. Gotwald informed the Board that he is part owner in this land but the <br />plans had been drawn for them by another firm in order to avoid a confl- <br />ict of interest. <br />Mr. Edmundson said the lots had been drawn so as to conform with the nat- <br />ural drainage and to preserve the trees. The streets will be completely <br />installed before any building takes place. If this plat is approved, Mr. <br />Edmundson ;•opes to have the street installed this fall. There is also <br />an extra 162 foot easement along the South edge of the land to bring the <br />easement to 33' for future development of a street. <br />Mr. Edmundson was told it would be necessary to get some soil borings. <br />This matter should then be sent to the Planner and the Engineer. <br />Mr. Nadeau moved to recommend approval of the preliminary plat with the <br />stipulation that at least 3 soil borings be completed, the soil typed and <br />confirmed, the feasibility of on-site septic systems be confirmed; the <br />plans be approved by the Planner and the Engineer and aneasement of 162 <br />feet along the South edge for future road purposes. Also, money be accept- <br />ed in lieu of land for park purposes. Seconded by Mr. Shearen. Motion <br />carried. <br />The resolution rquired by the Metro Council was discussed. Mr. Short <br />said the proposed Resolution written by Mr. Starr ties this City to the <br />Requirements as stipulated at the last meeting. Mr. Short had inquired <br />about assistance from the Metro Council and he had received favorable accept- <br />ance of his request. <br />On the first page of the Resolution, under point 3, subdivision b, place <br />a period after the word 'standards' in the second line and delete the re- <br />mair.,;er of that sentence. Mr. Hill moved to recommend the adoption of <br />this Resolution to the Council, with the above revision. Seconded by <br />Mr. Karth. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Nadeau presented the Board with a list of three names where he felt <br />residential property was being used as commercial. He felt these persons <br />should be contacted and the matter investigated. Mr. Nadeau so moved. <br />Seconded by Mr. Shearen. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Shearen moved to adjourn at 11:30 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Nadeau. Aye. <br />
