• <br />- Page Two - March 17, 1976 <br />Mr. McLean asked if anything was done about Mr. Mobley's recommendation presented <br />to the Board at the February 18, 1976 meeting. Mr. McLean said Mr. Mobley also <br />presented his recommendations to the Council. <br />The Clerk was instructed not to issue building permits immediately but give the <br />request for the building permit to the building inspector and possibly to the <br />City engineer for their approval. <br />Ordinance #52 amending Ordinance #6 requires a $100.00 deposit for processing <br />special use permits, rezoning, platting and other variances. This procedure is <br />not followed. Mr. Nadeau made a motion that the Clerk require the deposit of <br />$100.00 at the time of application. Mr. Hill seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mr. Linnell presented his petitution for Special Use Permit to keep bees. Mr. <br />Hill moved to recommend to the Council that the special use permit be approved <br />with the provision that the proper fees be paid and the application be completed <br />prior to the next Council meeting. Mr. Houle seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mr. McLean asked Mr. Linnell to see Mrs. Sarner tomorrow for completion of the <br />requirements. <br />Mr. McLean asked that Mrs. Sarner put Mr. Linnell on the Council agenda at a <br />scheduled time. <br />Mr. McLean asked Mr. Houle to get together with him and review the sign ordinance. <br />Mr. Hill asked to see Mr. McLean and Mr. Houle's review of the sign ordinance before <br />the next Planning and Zoning Board meeting. Mr. McLean said it was not necessary. <br />Mr. Gourley will call Mr. Shearen and Mr. Karth and ask them to prepare recommen- <br />dations for revising the Zoning Ordinance. <br />Mr. Gourley and Mr. Hill will review the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and bring <br />their recommendations to the next Board meeting. <br />The Board discussed who would review Special Use Permits. How do you police them? <br />Mr. McLean said the Planning and Zoning Board should recommend to the Council that <br />the Special Use Permits be policed. The Planning and Zoning Board should not <br />police itself. No action was taken on this matter. <br />The Clerk was asked to assemble 5 or 6 samples of each different kind of special <br />use permit and send each Board member copies of each sample. <br />New Business <br />Mr. Gourley did not like the way in which the agenda was compiled. He instructed <br />the Clerk to make a more complete agenda. <br />The Clerk was instructed to make copies of Mr. Nadeau's Certificate of Survey and <br />send one copy to each Planning and Zoning Board Member. <br />Mr. Naeuau moved to adjournat 9:30 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Houle. Motion carried. <br />
