After some discussion, Mr. Jaworski moved to approve the Lexington Fire Contract for 1975 with the removal of that particular paragraph. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried. Mr. Munson requested the Council to appoint a Council member to serve as liasion to the Lexington Fire Department. He also reported that as of the first of the year, he will be the Fire Chief and a party will be given for the retiring Chief on Feb. 8, 1975. All Council members are invited to attend. Mr. Munson informed the Council there will be a vigrous training program in 1975. He will keep them informed of the activities. He thanked the Council and said a copy of the contract will be sent as soon as it is retyped deleting the paragraph requested. Mr. Jaworski felt that the Centerville Contract should conform with the Lexington Contract. He moved to approve the Fire Contract with Centerville, deleting the same paragraph in that contract. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried. `:-'he Law Enforcement Contract with Centerville was discussed. It had been retyped with changes in the makeup of the Advisory Boa -^d. It now reads 'one Citizen or Councilmember from Centerville'. Mr. Zelinka moved to approve this contract. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried. Mayor Bohjanen had received a letter from the Anoka Comprehensi•:e Health Department dealing with the establishing of home for handicapped persons. This prohibits zoning in order to restrict establishing these homes. A copy of this letter is to be mailed to all Planning and Zoning Board members and Mr. Marier. Marie-, moved to 11r.ss a Resolution declining membership in this orginazation. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried iinanimous ly . r. Jaworksi asked if there had been any progress on the contract with th. Metro Sewer Board. Mayor Bohjanen said that he had been unable to contact Mr. Dougherty. The Clerk had also placed several calls without results. Mr. Jaworski suggested a letter stating the figure required by the City for hauling the sewage.
