Dec. 23, 1974 <br />Page Four <br />Mr. Locher said that if this is done it will be necessary that <br />the City have cost figures to prove the request. The Clerk was <br />instructed to compute the cost incurred by the City hauling the <br />sewage and have at the next Council meeting. She is to contact <br />Mr. Hill for a schedule of depreciation on the tanker truck. <br />Mr. Jaworski reported that the streets were plowed and some sand- <br />ing done. He also reported on an article that stated that Mr. <br />Chenowerth planned to introduce a bill in the coming legislative <br />session requiring the Metropolitan Council to be an elective <br />body. <br />Mr. Marier felt that the Council should get the position paper <br />prepared and soon. Mr. Jaworski said that he had reread the <br />asition paper of Apple Valley and felt that Lino Lakes did not <br />pit into their statements, since they dealt mostly with low cost <br />"sousing. He felt that Lino Lakes should take a position on a <br />',f,oader base including many facets of the Metropolitan Council <br />;activities. <br />Mayor Bohjanen asked if this information could be fed to the <br />Clerk for typing and then be sent to the Council for consideration <br />or would it be necessary to det dates for meetings? <br />There was discussion on the consideration of a joint powers <br />agreement with other communities on this paper; that this not be <br />just Lino Lakes' position; copies should be mailed to other <br />communites asking for their support. This would insure faster <br />action arid more support. <br />Special snrleing sessions were set for January 3, 1975 a ,d Januery <br />3, 1975 fcr -che formation of this paper. These meetings will <br />convene at 3?U3 P.M. at the City Hall.
