October 16, 197A <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning Board was called <br />to order at 8:20 P.M. by Chairman Karth. Members present: Keiling, Hill, <br />L'Allier, Nadeau. Absent: Sheeran, Lombardi. Also present were Councilman <br />Marier and Planner Starr. <br />Mr, Kelling moved to accept the minutes of September 18, 1974 as written and <br />the motion was seconded by Mr. Hill. Motion carried. <br />Mr, Charles Nelson whose rezoning hearing was scheduled to be heard at this <br />time was not present. Mr. Keliing moved to table this proceeding until Mr. <br />Nelson arrived. Sseconded by Mr. Hill. Motion carried. <br />Representatives from Northwestern Bell were present to discuss the building <br />of a storage building for Mobil Telephone Services to be located at Center- <br />ville Road and County Road J. The plan had been submitted to the Clerk's <br />Office earlier and was forwarded to all P&Z members. <br />Mr. Karth questioned the representatives on the construction and color <br />of the building. <br />NWB said that the building would be a metal frame type on a cement slab <br />nd would be painted light green in color. They stated the purpose of <br />e building would be to improve mobile telephone reception and that there <br />would be seven regular antenna and one whip type antenna located at the <br />site. <br />Mr. Keiling asked If the building would be heated in the winter and NWB <br />said they would maintain proper levels of heat. <br />There was a general discussion on the uses and if the building would have <br />permanent personnel stationed there. NWB said that they would have crews <br />there only when required for maintanence. <br />Mr. Nadeau moved to present this plan to the Council for final approval. <br />Mr. Keiling seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Marier advised the representatives from NWB that the Council would <br />have final approval in the matter and that he would present it at the <br />next meeting on October 28, 1974 and that he would not vote on the matter. <br />It was deceided that the representatives would not necessarily have to <br />:)e present at the Council meeting on October 28, and the P&Z could foresee <br />no problems with the plan as presented. <br />Since Mr. Nelson still had not arrived at this time there was an off the <br />r€oord discussion of land values and taxes for assessment purposes in Lino <br />'_ages. <br />
