(4) Feb. 20, 1974
Mr. Kelling said if Mr. Marier was willing to do this, it would sure save a lot of
leg work for the Boar. He felt that this was something that should be done and the
Board agreed.
Mr. Shearen asked Mr. Starr if he had heard anymore about a moratorium on building
permits for properties not located on a Metro Interceptor.
"1r. Starr said that he had not.
Mr. Amundsen questioned the Board on wall signs on business in a commercial zone.
Did they need a permit?
Mr. Locher checked the Sign Ordinance and all signs over 6 square feet must have a
permit including wall and roof signs.
There was more discussion on the signs in the City - on the duties of the Building
Inspector - and other items that Mr. Amundsen had questions about.
The Clerk was instructed to write to the Fritag/Anderson Real Estate Company and
t.z,11 them they are either to remove the signs they have in the City or put the
`!_?or Sale" portion on the signs. Mr. Locher suggested that she also include the
Penalty portion of the Ordinance.
'Ir. Jim Shearer moved to adjourn at 9:50 p.m. Seconded by Mr. Kelling. Aye.
