Second Reading and Passage of Ordinance No. 03-10, Amending Chapter 701 of the Lino <br /> 61 Lake City Code regarding Liquor Licensing—City Clerk Bartell reported that two weeks previous <br /> 62 the council approved first reading of Ordinance No. 03-10. This ordinance includes two changes to <br /> 63 the city code regarding liquor licensing. The first change eliminates a requirement for a conditional <br /> 64 use permit for outdoor serving areas. The second change adds language that clarifies a liquor <br /> 65 licensee's responsibility for order and containment in outdoor serving areas. <br /> 66 <br /> 67 Council Member Gallup moved to waive full reading of the ordinance and to approve second reading <br /> 1 68 and passage of Ordinance No. 03-10 as presented. Council Member Rafferty seconded the motion. <br /> `✓69 Motion adopted: Yeas, 5;Nays none. <br /> 70 <br /> 71 3B) Resolution No. 10-19,Approving an On-Sale Liquor License with Sunday Sales for <br /> 72 Chomonix Golf Course—City Clerk Bartell reported that an application has been submitted by <br /> 73 Anoka County Parks and Recreation for a new on-sale liquor license with Sunday sales for Chomonix <br /> 74 Golf Course located at 700 Aqua Lane in the Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park Reserve. The golf <br /> 75 course has long held a 3.2 license that allows the sale of malt beverages in their club house and <br /> 76 throughout the course from a beverage cart. The new license will allow the sale of strong beer,wine <br /> 77 and alcoholic beverages in the same manner. The application process is complete,the related fees <br /> 78 have been paid and insurance information has been provided to the City as required. The Lino Lakes <br /> 79 Police Department has conducted a background investigation and found no information that would <br /> 80 give reason to deny the application. The applicant and golf course manager were present to answer <br /> 81 any questions. In accordance with the Lino Lakes Code of Ordinances the application requires <br /> 82 approval by the City Council. <br /> 83 <br /> 84 As required by the city code, an opportunity was given to any person wishing to be heard for or <br /> 85 against the granting of the license. There were no comments received. <br /> 86 <br /> 87 Council Member O'Donnell moved to approve Resolution No. 10-19 as presented. Council Member <br /> 88 Roeser seconded the motion.
