LINO LAKES ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />RESOLUTION NO.13-05 <br />APPROVING 2013 MINNESOTA LAWS, CH. 73, SECTION 10 <br />RELATING TO CERTAIN TAX FORFEITED PROPERTY <br />IN THE CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />BE IT RESOLVED By the Board of Commissioners (the "Board") of the Lino Lakes <br />Economic Development Authority, Anoka County, Minnesota (the "Authority") as follows: <br />1. It is hereby determined that: <br />(a) 2013 Minnesota Laws, Chapter 73, Section 10 (the "Special Law") <br />authorized conveyance of certain specified parcels of tax -forfeited property to the <br />Authority under certain conditions; <br />(b) the Special Law is effective upon approval by a majority vote of the <br />Authority's Board and a majority vote of the Anoka County Board of Commissioners <br />(the "County Board"); and filing a certificate with the Minnesota Secretary of State, all <br />in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 645.021, subds. 2 and 3; and <br />(c) the Board has determined that is in the best interest of the City and its <br />residents to approve the Special Law. <br />2. The Special Law is hereby approved in all respects. <br />3. Upon receipt of a certified copy of a resolution approving the Special Law by <br />the County Board, the Secretary is authorized and directed to file with the Secretary of State <br />both the City and County Board resolutions along with the appropriate certificate in the form <br />prescribed by the State attorney general. <br />4. Authority staff and consultants are authorized and directed to take all actions <br />necessary to implement the Special Law and bring before this Council further proceedings as <br />necessary (if any) in order to implement the Special Law. <br />Adopted by the board of commissioners of the Lino Lakes Economic Development Authority <br />this 28th day of May, 2013. <br />ATTEST: <br />I z/(~et^...e <br />Michael Grochala <br />Secretary <br />Dave Roeser <br />President <br />
