COUNCIL MINUTES December 13, 2010 <br /> APPROVED <br /> 86 The council offered thanks to staff for their work on a very challenging budget. The council has <br /> f�37 worked hard to keep the budget down and to keep services in place. It was also noted that a$250,000 <br /> 88 budget for the road reconstruction fund will also be established in the coming year. <br /> 89 <br /> 90 ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT, DAN TESCH <br /> 91 <br /> 92 3A. 2011 City Fee Schedule, i) Consider Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance <br /> 93 No. 11-10 approving the 2011 City Fee Schedule; ii) Consider Resolution No. 114,Approving <br /> 94 summary publication of Ordinance No. 11-10 - City Clerk Bartell explained that for efficiency and <br /> 95 clarity, city fees are consolidated into one schedule that is adopted annually. The 2011 proposed fee <br /> 96 schedule is before the council and it includes several staff recommended changes that are noted in red <br /> 97 in the ordinance and which the council has reviewed at a work session. Staff understands that the <br /> 98 council intends to review the liquor fees prior to the license renewal period in June. The first reading <br /> 99 of the ordinance was approved by the council on Nov. 22. Staff recommends that the council <br /> 100 consider approval of the 2nd reading of Ordinance No. 11-10 and a resolution approving summary <br /> 101 publication. <br /> 102 <br /> 103 Council Member O'Donnell moved to waive full reading of the ordinance. Council Member Roeser <br /> 104 seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br /> 105 <br /> 106 Council Member Gallup moved to approve second reading and passage of Ordinance No. 11-10 as <br /> 107 presented. Council Member Rafferty seconded the motion. Motion carried: Yeas, 5;Nays none. <br /> '08 <br /> '-109 Council Member O'Donnell moved to approve Resolution No. 114, as presented. Council Member <br /> 110 Roeser seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br /> 111 <br /> 112 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT, DAVE PECCHIA <br /> 113 <br /> 114 4A. Consider Resolution No. 10-115,Accepting a donation from Turtleman Triathalon- Chief <br /> 115 Strege accepted a check for the Lino Lakes Police Department for$3,000 from Mark Steng, <br /> 116 representative of the Turtleman Triathalon. The Police Reserve volunteers assist during this event <br /> 117 also. Chief Strege noted that the donation is very much appreciated. The Chief and Reserve <br /> 118 representative were presented with coffee mugs. <br /> 119 <br /> 120 Council Member Rafferty moved to approve Resolution No. 10-115, as presented and with thanks for <br /> 121 the donation. Council Member Gallup seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice <br /> 122 vote. <br /> 123 4B.
